Recapping The 3rd Google Launchpad Program in Barcelona

For the third time, Google Launchpad hosted a successful program for entrepreneurs and startups in Barcelona. Together with local incubators and accelerators, 13 startups have been developed to launch or have been pre-accelerated in the famous global event.

This year was different as Incubio was the main partner of the event, last time in april Itnig had that role.

The program took place a couple of weeks ago, from the 30th of November to the 4th of December at Incubios offices at the Almogávers Business Factory, which they share with Barcelona Activa. Its not exactly news anymore, but we wanted to give all the readers a chance to get to know the startups in the program.

In total around 250 meeting took place during the week, where the entrepreneurs got to know and learn from inspiring mentors. The program was co-organized by local organizations that support technology-based projects, including Incubio, Barcelona Activa, Itnig and Connector.

The startups came from all over Spain, and represented industries such as health, education and fitness. According to Incubio the startups of this edition were at a slightly more advanced stage than at previous editions.

Google launchpad, who host these kind of events all over the world, was more than pleased with this years Barcelona experience.
