What Is Barcinno?

Barcinno is the community-driven platform sharing the stories, knowledge & events of Barcelona’s startup and tech communities.

As Barcelona’s #1 English-language tech news source, Barcinno spotlights new developments, growing startups and latest events. We offer a unique channel for Barcelona’s rapidly growing entrepreneurial community to expand their presence locally as well as internationally.

Our name brings together Barcelona’s history as a Roman military outpost called ‘Barcino’, its present as the largest city on the Mediterranean, and its future as a world-leading innovation hub connecting the brightest minds around the world.  We aim to highlight and unite the local creators, designers, and innovators who are changing the landscape of this city.

As a locally-driven platform, Barcinno’s reach depends upon the community that we serve, so please continue to share your stories and learn about ways to work with us!
