Right on the heels of Barcelona Design Week, FADfest comes to life for two straight weeks celebrating the best-in-class designers in advertising, graphic design, jewelry, interior design, art, fashion, and architecture. With more than 110 years of history and experience, FAD was the first organization in Catalonia to commit resources to the advancement of design, architecture, and creative culture. More than 1500 members are striving to stimulate innovation through design with partnerships with business, universities, and international organizations. The finalists of this year’s FADfest will be featured all summer long during the FADexpo located in their headquarters in Plaça dels Angels. For those of you seeking the future of Spanish fashion, don’t miss the 35th edition of the MODAFAD catwalk for emerging fashion designers on July 11th.
