Fintech Start-ups and Innovation

You are all cordially invited to “Fintech Start-ups and Innovation”, a session organised by the ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute and Alumni Entrepreneurship on June 3rd.

Just when we were all wondering whether innovation could continue to develop new products and services, Fintech burst on the scene – the latest big trend. A movement in which lots of small companies are taking steps to change our understanding of financial services by applying technology. The Fintech phenomenon offers the industry new opportunities and innovations for current business models.

This session will discuss whether innovation is possible in the Fintech sector and the need to boost this sector Spain by means of existing financial institutions and the creation of new start-ups.

We’ve invited experts from this ecosystem to share their points of view – Francesc Fajula, Innovation Director at Banc Sabadell, and Xavier Foz, partner in the Mercantile Department of Roca Junyent – and we’ll also be taking a look at the experience of Kantox and Finanzarel, fast-growing start-ups in the Fintech sector.
