In 2023, Honeypot released a report on the state of female representation in tech teams in Europe. We’ve clearly shown that despite some marginal progress in the last decade, we’re still years from reaching gender parity in the workplace.

Why haven’t we crossed this barrier yet?

More women are getting into tech and programming roles every day. However, despite the growing demand for tech professionals in Europe women are struggling to get on an equal footing in the tech industry.

With this workshop, we wish to discuss some of these greater challenges and talk about what industry leaders can create a meaningful change.

We hope to spark the conversation around female representation in tech teams and discuss what companies in Barcelona are doing – or what they could be doing- to open up the tech market to more women.
