At our TEDxBarcelonaSalon events we foster networking, dialog and the discussion among all members of TEDxBarcelona. In order to achieve this we meet once a month and listen to an interesting talk. After watching the talk we discuss about the presented subject. In order to make this event effective we limit the number of attendees.
Our May TEDxBarcelonaSalon event ist taking place in the former beer factory Damm at Rosselló, 515.
Eric Li: A Tale Of Two Political Systems
It’s a standard assumption in the West: As a society progresses, it eventually becomes a capitalist, multi-party democracy. Right? Eric X. Li, a Chinese investor and political scientist, begs to differ. In this provocative, boundary-pushing talk, he asks his audience to consider that there’s more than one way to run a successful modern nation.
We will watch a TED talk altogether (in english with spanish subtitles). Afterwards, we discuss about the video among the attendees. We finish the event with networking and a beer for everyone.
One week before the event we will send out an invitation to the event. Then it will be possible to register for the event.
