Tech Spirit Barcelona 2023

Tech Spirit Barcelona is the flagship event of the local technological community with a global perspective and ambition. Its goal is to bring together networking meetings among entrepreneurs, companies, and national and international investment funds, as well as to showcase stories and success cases born from Barcelona’s technological ecosystem.

The event will take place on December 12 and 13 at La Llotja de Mar in Barcelona. In this edition, Tech Barcelona, the organizing entity of Tech Spirit Barcelona, will celebrate its tenth anniversary at the event’s closing with the founding team of the association and the board of directors.

The main theme for this fourth edition is “The tech side of life.” Sessions will analyze the impact of generative artificial intelligence, public and private investment, quantum computing, deeptech, and open innovation, as well as the keys to success in different sectors and industries.

The previous edition had over 9,000 registrations (almost double the second edition), 140 top-level speakers, 50 talks and roundtable discussions, and 1,800 minutes of content. Out of the 140 speakers, more than 90 were entrepreneurs, 30 were investors, and 20 were representatives of large corporations. The event had a 65% male and 35% female participation. Additionally, within the framework of Tech Spirit Barcelona, ACCIÓ organizes the Catalan Pitch Competition and awards the Best Catalan Startup of 2023.
