THE SPEAKERS

Jordi Nebot is a developer who loves the Web. He’s currently working as a Frontend Dev at LoveToKnow Media. In the last two years, he’s been mainly focused on learning and using Vue.js in production sites. During his talk “Using Google Publisher Tag to display Ads in a Vue.js SPA.“ he’ll talk about how to set up Google Publisher Tag Ads in a Vue.js Single Page Application to correctly display Ads. We’ll take advantage of Vue’s Lifecycle hooks and Vue Router’s Navigation Guards to define, display and destroy Ad slots.

Mary O’Riordain is an established online media professional specializing in digital publishing monetization, with over ten years in advertising operations. Mary is currently Head of Advertising Operations at LoveToKnow Media.

Prior to LoveToKnow, Mary managed programmatic strategy and ad operations for Merriam-Webster and EncyclopÊdia Britannica, where she was an early adopter in utilizing a header bidding solution to monetize inventory without direct sales. She has also worked in client success and account management at start-ups (iExplore, DNAinfo), specifically focusing her operational skills to build standardized internal processes.

Based in Chicago, Mary tries to not talk about the cold weather or her pets – but often fails at both. She loves Chicago but travels as much as possible with her husband, Donnchadh. Mary has a B.B.A from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
