Barcelona Tech, Startups and Innovation
Hi BCN Data Engineers!
Hope you all enjoyed MWC and generally are well 🙂 The speaker and venue for this event took some time to confirm, but here we are!
We are very happy that we are able to be at Ironhack once again, due to other venues being booked. For Monday the 26th of March, I’m pleased to announce that Carmen Herrero will give a talk on her mobility studies in the context of Barcelona. Carmen (https://es.linkedin.com/in/carherrero ) is an innovation researcher and data scientist at the Big Data Analytics group of Eurecat, where they do different projects in mobility, tourism, and smart cities. She started her career at the Marine Science Institute in Barcelona, where she obtained a Ph.D. in physical oceanography studying the effect of the ocean on climate during long time periods. Besides this, she’s an enthusiastic traveler, a passionate photographer (http://www.carmenherrero.com/) and recently became a mom!
Mobile and data. What’s not to like?
