Mobile payments: The Era Of A Cashless Future

The mobile payments space has been touted as the next big thing for some time now. For almost as long as the mobile device revolution, industry watchers have predicted that the ubiquitous nature of mobile devices signaled the end of the traditional wallet — that, soon, cash and credit cards would give way to a new technology embedded into our mobile phones.

So far, it hasn’t happened.

Don’t get us wrong, the mobile payment revolution is coming — it’s only a question of when.

Join us for an afternoon where we will discover how mobile payments could shift the future, the current implementation of these payment systems in Spain and many more topics like: Do we need a mobile payment standard? Are mobile payment systems and overcrowd room? All of them will survive? Has startups any future in mobile payments or banks will become the major leaders?

Fintech & Wine events will be an informal events where our special guest will expose the topic through a thirty minutes talk, then all the assistants can join us in a Q&A session to debate around the mobile payments future. To close the evening, all the assistants could enjoy a nice networking drinking a glass of wine.

The event will be very reduced just for 30 people, we will invite 15 influential people one by one. The other 15 will be part of our Fintech Barcelona Community. We believe in smaller but more qualitative events to make it easier to talk to everyone and meet really interesting people.

This event will be the first of a different Fintech & Wine events we are planning about different topics during the next months.
