Codeworks & Mozilla: “Digital rights & Open Source: new challenges and opportunities”

Codeworks, the leading Javascript Bootcamp in Europe, is joining forces with Mozilla Foundation for the #ChangeCopyright Campaign for the event “Digital Rights and Open Source: new challenges and opportunities.”

The Mozilla Foundation, protector of the Web as a global public resource, open and accessible to all, is currently leading the efforts against the new European Directive on Copyright. If approved as it is, this Reform will have a devastating impact on citizens, creatives, innovators and startups working with user-uploaded content and big data, on platform businesses and the digital information sector.
With the participation of speakers from Xnet, Hacks/Hackers, Codeworks and Mozilla we’ll talk about coding, Internet health, cyber-activism, tech journalism, and startups.

After the debate, we’ll network, share ideas and explore synergies with a beer!
