Risk Management for Start-ups
Peter Deans, a risk management specialist, will be giving a short presentation on how start-ups can think about managing risk issues and make better business decisions. Many start-ups often overlook critical risk management issues due to limited in house risk expertise or external / advisory board support.
Peter’s talk will provide insights into where to look for potential risk management issues. The talk will cover:
· An introduction to risk management fundamentals
· Overview of strategic, financial & operational risks
· Key risks to manage early on in the life of a start up
