Code Your Future – Coding school for refugees, by Alex Fernandez 

 CodeYourFuture is the UK’s first, and only, coding school exclusively set up to teach refugees to code. Half of the students are Syrians, with others from Uganda, Ethiopia, Afghanistan and one who is officially recognised as stateless by the UK government. None of them are able to return home to their former lives so they’re learning coding as a route to finding a stable job in the UK. In just six months, each student will have acquired enough coding knowledge to hopefully find themselves an entry level job as a web developer.
