You may be thinking: what does the ‘feminist internet’ even mean? Why do we need a feminist internet? What has feminism got to do with technology, or vice versa? I’m a man, how is the feminist internet relevant to me?

WELL LOOK NO FURTHER MY FRIENDS, because we will be exploring these very questions and others such as:

How do we create a feminist internet?

What is a feminist technology?

What does it look like and how is it made?

How can we ensure that technologies produce feminist ideologies?

How are bodies, sexuality and experience commercialised, and how can we resist online sexism?

Where do women feature in a rapidly changing world of work that is being radically transformed and disrupted by e.g. automation, AI etc.

And much more… during the discussion.

The event will be followed by FREE networking drinks and nibbles on the One Co Work terrace.

World Women’s Web is a new organisation advocating for gender equality in the world of tech and beyond. This is it’s first event so don’t miss out on being present at its official launch!
