What is platform economy?
A platform is a business model that enables the exchange of value between two or more sets of users, usually producers and consumers.
The platform economy usually relates to transaction platforms, or ‘online matchmakers’. Think Uber, Airbnb, Apple’s iOS, Google’s Android, etc.
