Startup Grind BCN hosts Netta Gilon (ex-COO @ Playtika)

Welcome to our 2nd offline event of Startup Grind Barcelona since the COVID-19 pandemic. For this event, we have the pleasure to host Netta Gilon, an Organizational Psychologist and a Senior Tech Executive. She has spent most of her career in the gaming industry. In her most recent position, Netta was Chief Operating Officer at Playtika.

Since September, we are hosting small events, almost invite-only (limited 20 or 30 attendees), following the strictest safety measures for everyone, in smaller venues than our usual ones, with socially-distanced networking outdoors (on rooftops, for the win!).

Startup Grind is one of the biggest communities of entrepreneurs in partnership with Google for Startups. Our mission is to help every entrepreneur in the world. We do so by hosting a monthly recurring event to inspire, educate, and connect entrepreneurs. The Barcelona chapter was granted the “Best Chapter of the Year” award in 2016, with the average assistance of +130 attendees per event, having held over 100 editions since April 2014 and helping local entrepreneurs to take their projects to the next level.

The event will go as follows:

1. An open mic session where any attendee is free to speak up his mind or ask for a piece of advice from the community and receive feedback.
2. A fireside chat with Netta Gilon (ex-COO @ Playtika) hosted by our Chapter Director Àlex Rodríguez Bacardit.
3. A networking session in which attendees talk to each other freely over some beers and delicious empanadas. There’s no Startup Grind where you don’t leave with new friends and exciting connections.
