Welcome to Startup Grind Barcelona again! We’re holding a more casual edition of SGBCN to celebrate summer. This event will NOT be held in Mobile World Centre as usual. We’re relocating to Summum Night Bar just for this edition!!
This time, we will change the program a little bit. In the first hour you will be able to present your project and ask for what you need (help, mentoring, a co-founder, investment, an MVP, etc.).
In the second hour, we will be chatting to Karen with a fireside chat.
Last, but not least, we will be having a Mojito-driven networking hour. The first round is on us!
Karen Prats is the CEO and co-founder of PopCorner andPopPlaces, two of the hottest Barcelona start-ups of the moment. Having won multiple prizes and raised investment at national level, they’re looking into the possibility of expanding overseas.
During her career, Karen has been involved from the beginning in single projects on the market, setting up a creative, fresh and hungry for innovation professional profile.
Starting in Guia de Tendencias, followed by Urban Secrets, trnd and other professional endeavours that saw her managing projects for huge multinational companies such as Johnson & Johnson she united all these experiences and launched PopCorner.es and PopPlaces.com. PopCorner specializes in the design, creation and operation of Pop Up Stores, while PopPlaces became the first Spanish marketplace for renting spaces by the day.
Karen specializes in Branding, Brand Identity, Team Building, Communication, Image, Creativity,
