The goal of the Next Generation Internet (NGI) is a European Commission project designed to enable a hyper-connected society that embodies the values that Europe holds dear: openness, inclusivity, transparency, privacy, cooperation, and the protection of data. From a technological point of view, the NGI brings together advances in Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things and new Media platforms for synchronous and asynchronous interaction, communication and collaboration.
