The DELIS are sessions organised by MEAT (Making Extremely Awesome Things), MOB co-creative agency. This series of Meetups aims to build an ecosystem for open innovation by connecting corporation stakeholders to the community of entrepreneurs and startups in Barcelona.

Each event will be structured around a challenge.

During the first 20 minutes, we will study the case of a company that had to undertake it. During the next 45 minutes, we will put ourselves in the situation of a company’s stakeholders and try to resolve the challenge at our turn.

20h-20h15: CASE STUDY PRESENTATION

During this first session, we will study the case of Haeir Group. Its charismatic CEO Zhang Ruimin entered the company in 1984. By using pioneer management techniques, he quickly enabled Haeir to be receptive to the evolutions of its user’s needs and to the apparition of competitive new technologies. Haeir is now a high performing and truly entrepreneurial global business that has become the world’s fastest growing appliance maker and the company with the largest market share in “white goods” worldwide.

20h15-20h55: PROTOTYPE THINKING WORKSHOP

Led by a mentor in prototype thinking, the workshop will aim to facilitate the process of problem solving. Divided into small groups, the audience will design a solution to resolve the challenge.

This week, we will therefore wonder HOW TO MAKE YOUR COMPANY MORE RECEPTIVE TO OUTSIDE CHANGES?
