In this meetup, we will know more about this topic, from Decentralized Finances to decentralized Marketplaces.

Hugo Sánchez, Blockchain developer and member of Ethereum’s Cat Herders team, will introduce us to the emerging Decentralized Finances and the economy behind MakerDAO and its stable coin DAI.

After this introduction, Austin Virts, Head of Marketing at Origin Protocol, will show us, remotely, the new developments of the decentralized marketplace Origin and will do a ETH giveaway to the attendees allowing them to convert it to DAI and purchase a shirt on the Origin Marketplace.

# Who is Hugo Sánchez & Austin Virts?
Hugo Sánchez is a Blockchain developer at Caelum Labs where he focuses on building mobile interfaces for decentralized protocols. He is also member of the Ethereum’s Cat Herders fellowship, a community of PR experts helping move Eth 1.X forward.

Austin Virts is the Head of Marketing at Origin Protocol. Austin is passionate about free, open commerce and opening up the global economy to everyone. Origin protocol is building a blockchain platform for building decentralized marketplaces.
