How to pitch an American VC? by Blake Armstrong, Partner at TheFamily

November 30, 2015 @ 19:30 - 21:00

Free

When you’re a European startup, you will probably raise money only once. That means you get one chance to make a good impression, and investors make up their mind about you pretty quickly.

When pitching American VCs, cultural differences matter.
You need to take this into account, and adapt your pitch to your audience. Born in Los Angeles, Blake knows these cultural variations pretty well. He’s pitched both American and European investors, and has been living in France for the past few years.

Blake Armstrong is a Venture Partner at TheFamily. Previously, he was the founding Business Development Director for Vapor Communications, a Harvard university spinout that is building hardware & software for the world’s first aromatic communication platform. He co-founded Edify, a social enterprise that provides financing to entrepreneurs in the developing world.

This event is OPEN & completely FREE.
Join this 45 min talk! You’ll get useful tips and actionable advice.

It starts at 7:00pm, and will be followed by a cocktail & networking.
