Fest-UP Service Jam BCN

Swapsee , the community marketplace for talent, and Claro Partners , business innovation and service design firm, in collaboration with EatWith and LE18 will host a unique Service Jam focused on the issue of food waste. Currently, over 262,000 tons of food is being wasted every year in Catalonia. This is a huge problem but an opportunity Also with great potential.

During three consecutive evenings, three groups of five people with a background in entrepreneurship, business, technology, engineering, marketing and design will be invited to flex muscles Their mind and come up with a solution to this problem rooted in the Internet and / or mobile technology .Facilitators from Swapsee and Claro Partners will guide the participants and help them structure and Their Ideas to Develop a product concept and business plan around it.

A jury Formed by experts in the field will review Their Proposals. Confirmed judges:  Abdi Shayeste of Ousul Ventures ,  Rosa Monge of  Imagine Creative Center ,  Victor Fortunato of  Cookbooth , Franck Poirier of LE18 , Aldo de Jong of Claro Partners , and  Alex Rodriguez Bacardit of   Startup Grind BCN .

The winning team will be announced at the Fest-UP Awards on the night of May 9th and will receive a grand prize, that of consists of mentoring from the Claro Partners team to develop their concept further.
