Design Thinking: The Design Skills That The World Needs

Design Thinking allows you to find solutions to problems by addressing them from different points of view. Applying Design Thinking requires knowing the process and experiencing it. But applying design and innovation centered on the human being requires developing skills and a change of mentality.

Design Thinking needs Design Thinkers, people not so much with the technical skills of a designer, but the way of thinking and doing of a designer.

Thinking like a designer, without being a designer, can transform your way of seeing things, and therefore, your way of facing challenges and developing a strategy.

Yoel Lenti and Violeta Bendersky , both from INSITUM, a leading strategic innovation consultancy, which helps organizations solve complex, strategic and ambiguous problems through a people-centered approach, will give us a talk aimed at talking about the skills of Design Thinker, those design skills that the world needs and that create solutions more focused on people.

It is an excellent opportunity to hear firsthand two professionals with whom we share the focus of innovation focused on the human being.

SPEAKERS

Yoel Lenti
has more than 15 years of experience in strategic business projects to innovate in new products and services with a focus on the end user. He has collaborated with digital software companies using design interaction tools and applying ethnography to the design of products / services.

He is the current director of INSITUM Europe. He has developed projects for various industries, including financial services, FMCG, telecommunications, technology and health care industries. Yoel holds a degree in Industrial Design from Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona – Spain and has a Master’s Degree in Interaction Design, from same university. He also holds a baccalaureate in Psychology from the UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya)

Violeta Bendersky
Specialized in customer insights and Design Thinking. Violeta has a Postgraduate Degree in Nonprofit Organizations (Saint Andrews University) with a focus on the problems of the social sector and its growth. He also received a degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. During the last 5 years, INSITUM has worked for different industries and sectors such as technology, medical care, consumer goods and services. Violeta started as a research consultant and is currently the operations manager of the European office.
