The future always seems right around the corner, while at the same time light years ahead, so how do we stay ahead of the curve? When it comes to crafting experiences, David Mikula and his New York based studio, Friends, always look for new innovative ways to push the boundaries of what we know to be UX design.

About David Mikula:

David Mikula is a creative partner that helps ambitious leaders shape the ways people experience their brands and organisations.

In the past twelve years, David has been recognised for award-winning innovations in digital and tangible products, marketing and experiences for notable brands like Nike, Microsoft, Sesame Street, NASA Jet Propulsion Lab, Wieden+Kennedy, Whole Foods Market, Foursquare, Digital Kitchen, Coca-Cola and Electronic Arts.

Aside from his work, he applies his learnings through teaching and public speaking and is a contributor of the EFF and ACLU.
