CodeOp’s SubVersions is a remote, global series of fireside chats highlighting the projects and people on the margins of tech.
Speakers from all over the world, working at the intersection of tech and sex, performance arts, music, wine, society, and innovation, will share their stories and perspectives from their fields. The entire series is free for everyone wanting to watch.

In this session we will be joined by three entrepreneurs from Sote Hub: Kenya’s first rural based business incubator and open space for young innovators and startups to design market solutions to local challenges such as:
A smart kit that measures soil pH, nutrient and moisture level and send real time SMS notification with results. This has helped farmers decide on which type of crop to grow and hence boost production.
An elephant IOT device that alerts Kenya Wildlife Service to respond whenever elephants stray into homes, villages and farms.
