Erik Brieva is a serial entrepreneur who has been founder or co-founder of more than 10 companies in sectors such as enterprise software, mobile and internet; many of these ventures have had large exits under his leadership.

Erik is a professional of many talents, having very successfully carried out different key executive roles such as CEO, CTO, Director of Marketing and Product Management, in addition to having raised €25M for his various ventures.

He launched and is Director of the first Lean Startup Master in Spain, which takes place at UPC, and he teaches Entrepreneurship at IESE. He has also taught Computer Programming and Digital Image Processing at University of Havana, and taught Computer Graphics at Middlesex University.

Erik has been recognized as a Visionary by Gartner (Magic Quadrant 2009 & 2010), a Major Player by IDC (MarketScape 2011), named among the 100 Leaders of the Future (Capital Magazine, Spain, 2009) and Entrepreneur of the Year (Entrepreneurs Magazine, 2006, Spain).

In his last venture, he founded Polymita (acquired by Red Hat) pioneering the Business Process Management (BPM) software industry. He was also co-founder of Intelligent Software Components (iSOCO) acquired by B2B Factory Ventures, Enzyme Advising Group (acquired by Nexe Group), Altea Consulting, Bojeo.com and Wannay.com.

He invest in early-stage startups and serves as board advisor in several companies.
