Jeff Lyn is CEO and co-founder of Seedrs, one of the world’s leading equity crowdfunding platforms. Seedrs allows investors to invest as little or as much as they like in startups they choose, and it allows entrepreneurs to raise capital from friends, family, angels, institutions and the crowds. Since its launch in July 2012, Seedrs has funded over €10 million across 95 deals, with investors from 45 countries participating. Jeff began his career as a corporate lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and London, and he currently serves as founding Chairman of The Coalition for a Digital Economy (Coadec), a non-profit advocacy group for digital startups and SMEs, and as a non-executive director of Companies House, the UK’s government agency for corporate registrations, filings and data.

Valentí Acconcia is the founder of 4 startups in the crowdfunding industry. As a Crowdfunding Consultant he loves creating crowdfunding campaigns and helping both entrepreneurs and brands to reach their goals and build communities around their ideas.

Ricardo Sequerra. Originally from Lisbon, Ricardo joined the London startup scene two years ago to join Seedcamp in their mission to find and prepare the next generation of stellar European entrepreneurs. At Seedrs, Ricardo is building the Seedrs startup community and developing outreach efforts throughout Europe. He studied Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ESADE business school and is the office’s resident linguist who speaks five languages.

Aldo de Jong as the co-founder of Claro Partners, Aldo helps corporations and startups to navigate disruptive change. Together with Claro he provides business innovation and service design in the context of disruptive changes in society and business, such as the personal data economy, new models of ownership and value exchange networks. Aldo is a strategist with strong analytical capability and business acumen, coupled with creativity and passion for understanding people. He understands what it takes to take an initiative through the organization to the marketplace. He focuses on working with leaders in industries affected by disruption, like telecoms, technology, financial services and media, as well as, with disruptive startups. Aldo is also co-founder of Startupbootcamp Data & IoT, an accelerator program focused on two of Claro’s areas of expertise: Smart Data & Internet of Things. Startupbootcamp is the leading EU accelerator network with specialised intensive programs in 10 cities around the world.
