Be “E”! English Entrepreneur Workshop for Kids

Through this workshop, we expose children to a new type of learning experience. We combine the teaching of English with entrepreneurial skills providing a holistic and more effective approach. Learning becomes: Experiential + Social + Gamified (to learn by playing).

General Objective:

While teaching English, we coach them on life skills that they will need to entrepreneur in many fields of life.

Key Entrepreneurial Skill Objectives

-Understand Goal-Setting
-Practice skills to run a DREAM: creative thinking and decision-making
-Identify ENTREPRENEURS and their abilities
-Understand the VALUE OF TEAMWORK
-Discover their PASSIONS

Key Language Objectives

-Learn and practice vocabulary related to the entrepreneur world.
-Learn and practice phrases to communicate fluently.
-Gain exposure to the second language and sharpen the ear.
-Gain speaking practice in a secure and ludic environment.
-Improve communication skills in English.

Methodology:

The methodology approach during this workshop will be active and engaging. It´s a learn-by-doing and gamified experience in which kids learn in a safe, ludic and relaxed context.

About the facilitator: Silvina is teacher of English as a Second Language, Entrepreneur and Educative Coach. Her passion is to work with kids and present them with different tools to enhance their natural abilities and competencies. Her new challenge is to combine the teaching of English with entrepreneurial competencies during her classes and workshops.

NOTE: This course has been designed for kids between 9 and 12 years old. To attend, we require a minimum of 2 years of academically learning English. The difference in levels of English is not a problem. We will imitate real-life situations, in which when we communicate in other language, we have all different levels, however, with the development of other strategies, we make up for the temporal lack of evenness.
