You may have noticed my announcement the other day that Ash Maurya will be in town the week of September 18-22 giving 2-3 day in depth workshops, on how to accelerate startup results and dramatically increase chances of success (you must pay to attend these valuable multi-day workshops goo.gl/iscWfu) – I’m sure the workshops will be outstanding!

For those who cannot attend the multi-day workshop, Ash is generously giving a FREE 1-hour presentation sharing some quick insights on for how entrepreneurs can accelerate, de-risk and greatly improve the success of their businesses. Given that Ash will be visiting during the week of Barcelona Startup Week 2017, we decided to host the event at the conference so that it’s easy for any people who may want to check out other startup events earlier that day. Ash Maurya is one of the people that add valuable and actionable methodology applying in practice the Lean Startup and Customer Development methodologies to technology focused businesses.

He says “life is too short for building something nobody wants”. So his obsession was finding a practical way to systematically de-risk a business idea through a series of conversations and experiments.

His focus is on identifying hypothesis (one by one and starting for the riskiest one), knowing what you need to learn and preparing conversations (problem interview and solution interview) or building experiments to test the most important assumptions of the business.
